FLOORING INSPECTIONS
Field tests are indicative, lab tests are conclusive. Field evaluation is often sufficient to determine the issue at hand, but there are some circumstances where more conclusive evidence is required. This typically happens in situations where field tests indicate a product issue but the manufacturer may require conclusive evidence that the failure of the product is related to how it was made.
Understanding this is a critical part of presenting your claim in a way that will increase the likelihood of your claim being honoured.
